Thursday April 1, 4pm-6pm
Are you in grade 9-11 and interested in developing the skills needed to carry out research efficiently and effectively? This one-time workshop will explore the basic skills needed to carry out research – whether that be for everyday school assignments, for an IB Internal Assessment, or for your projects outside of school.
A librarian from the University of Calgary will be showing you how to reference sources, how to form and answer a manageable research question, how to use online resources effectively, how to evaluate sources, how to use the rich research resources at the U of C, and more. These skills will be important throughout high school and university, so make sure to sign up!
